About the event
Ploho is a post-punk band hailing from Siberia formed in 2013 by singer and guitarist Victor Uzhakov. Their music seamlessly blends early post-punk, new wave, and Russian rock, taking inspiration from the aesthetics and sounds of the late 1980s and early 1990s. With a cold and haunting sound, Ploho evokes the ambience of the hopeful yet apprehensive era of the Soviet Union on the verge of collapse, resonating eerily with the peculiarities of our own time.
Bitcevsky Park is a solo project by Victor Uzhakov characterized by a lo-fi/noise-pop style with a distinct Siberian melancholic touch.
